Mammoth Lakes Trip

Friday August 6th  - Sunday August 8th

Our Ventura Running Club Mammoth Lakes trip is meant as a fun runcation in one of the best high altitude running locations in the world. It is free for all club members (well the runs and hikes are free :) ... you will need to pay for your lodging and meals/drinks...we just organize the trip) and everyone is encouraged to bring their family. Please note these are not races and signs/trails will not be marked so it is important to view maps beforehand (or just go out and back.)

The base of Mammoth Lakes is over 7,000 feet which makes it significantly harder for those not used to altitude. This is something you do not want to mess with. Carry water, wear sunscreen, and adjust your pace and take walk breaks as needed.
